The Wamuran State School Parents and Citizens Association is a team of volunteers dedicated to helping create and support the best learning experience for all Wamuran State School students.
The association also collaborates with many community initiatives and is instrumental in obtaining grants, orchestrating fund raising and securing resources to help increase opportunities for our students.
The P&C oversees the management of the Wamuran Out of School Hours Childcare facility (WOOSHC); as well as the school Tuck Shop and Uniform Shop.
The committee endeavours to communicate with the Principal and staff on issues, events and interests that affect students.

How can you help?
We all want the best for our children and becoming involved in the P&C is a wonderful way to help ensure the students of Wamuran have the best educational environment possible.
Parents and caregivers are busy people, however a little help from everyone goes a long way!
Ways you can help:
Volunteering: an hour or two in the Classroom or the Tuckshop
Donating: resources for the school and food items to the Tuckshop
Assisting at fundraising events: e.g. Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls; Colour Run; Pie/Cookie Day distribution; Bake Stall; and in the canteen on Disco nights.
Remember: Many hands make light work!!
Meetings
P&C meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month from 6.00pm in the office staff room. New members are most welcome. At each meeting, you’ll find a group of friendly and enthusiastic members who all share the same goal: to help support the students, staff and community of Wamuran State School to achieve and enjoy the best learning experience possible. We’d love for you to join us!
